My name is Craig Hutchinson. I’m from the great state of Wyoming where I have been involved in agriculture my whole life, specifically cattle ranching. I grew up on a smaller family place and also worked for different operations varying in size. I enjoy being outside, in the mountains, horseback, with my stock dogs, working cattle. All of which our cow work is done horseback. I currently work for a large operation that neighbors the Pitchfork Ranch. I’m on the cow crew there where we use our horses daily for our job. Normal daily tasks consist of gathering and moving cattle, riding health and caring for the livestock, or looking for predator depredation. All done from the back of a horse in wide open spaces and in my opinion, there’s no better way to do the job.
