Harold Meeks

I grew up on a ranch in Big Piney, Wyoming, where I learned the importance of being a cowman and the value of a good horse. My passion for a good horse led into a business starting and training horses for team roping. As my thirst for knowledge grew I got interested in reined cow horses through the help of Mike Miller. After showing a little and gaining knowledge about training I was hired by Western States Ranches Performance Horses to run their rope horse program and train a few reined cow horses. After some success I went to work for Carol Rose Quarter Horse's and with guidance made the NRCHA snaffle bit finals. After leaving Carol's I did several odd jobs, they led me back to my Wyoming roots where I got to cowboy with many legends, such as Tom Moorehouse, Boots and Wes O'Neal, and Joe Leathers. I now run the Stonewall Ranch in Savery, Wyoming with my wife and kids and train our own horses for some competitions, but mostly just for the enjoyment of a really well broke horse.
