Deann Atchley, breeds and shows performance Quarter Horses in Las Cruces, NM. Her specialty is showing in reining and ranch riding events. She is passionate about Quarter Horses, particularly for their versatile abilities and good minds. Her breeding program started with 2 performance bred mares, which she personally showed and earned points and money on. Her horses are of the highest quality and have gone on to become successful in the show arena, roping arena, movie industry, pleasure riding and ranch work. Deann is passionate about showing horses. She has competed at both the local and national levels in AQHA and NRHA sanctioned events. Throughout her show career, she has won several AQHA All Arounds and money earnings in NRHA. In addition, Deann takes an active role in the horse industry by serving as a National Director for AQHA, as well as on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Quarter Horse Association. She is an ambassador for the American Quarter Horse, and always welcomes new horse enthusiasts into the industry.
