I have been around horses and the cowboy lifestyle my whole life. It is the best and "only" way to be raised, in my opinion. From a young age I was always taught to be gentle and kind to your horse and the outcome will always be better for both parties involved. With every young horse I have ever started or rode I think the best mental building block is made being rode outside. Once a horse has a strong mind from ranch work I like to take them to the roping pen where they get team roped and breakawayed on intensively. With every horse I offer to the public, I assure they will have been through the ringer and have been in every tough scenario possible, making them great horses.
