Kay Jay Starlight - “JJ”

JJ came to our ranch as a yearling colt from an old rancher friend who spent his whole life raising good ranch horses. He raised horses to have size, bone, good conformation, hard feet, be tough and cowy. Every time I saddle JJ he is ready to go to work with no hump and he has a willing attitude. He has been my main horse for tough days that require a lot of sorting or roping. He has helped me win first place at several ranch rodeos. JJ has roped extensively on the ranch and has drug too many calves to count. He will ride off alone and will go anywhere you point him. JJ has a kind gentle eye and is great to be around on the ground. He stands great for the farrier. He has been started lightly heading and heeling and would excel in any arena event such as roping, barrels or poles. JJ is a finished ranch horse who can go any direction you want to take him; whether it’s the arena, the sorting pen, trail riding, or back to the ranch. JJ would fit a kid who’s ready for a step up horse or an old rancher who doesn’t have time for funny business and everyone in between.
