JD

JD is a 6 year old grade gelding that’s been used on the ranch for every aspect of work. He’s been to head and heel brandings, sorted cattle, drug calves, doctored all classes of cattle in the feedlot and outside. JD has also been used in the mountains as a pack horse and lead pack strings all over the backcountry elk hunting. He handles himself well in all terrain and is sure footed. He stands right at 15 hands and weighs around 1100lbs. He’s great to catch anywhere and the first one to meet you at the gate. This horse has a big enough motor to doctor calves on all day but quiet enough to enjoy a trail ride. This horse will excel in any direction he’s taken. For more information call 307-272-6214.
